Can I attend the games even if I am not part of a Mauritian Society?
Yes, the event is open to all Mauritians.

How do I get to the University of Warwick?
University Address: University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7AL, United Kingdom
If your coach stops at Pool Meadow Station in Coventry or if you come by train, take either the number 11, 11U Bus in direction of Leamington Spa or the number 12X Bus in direction of University of Warwick. Alternatively, you can also take a taxi which costs around £15 for 5 persons.
What should I do once I get there?
You will be directed to the place where you will get your Warwick Games ticket. After that, you are free to socialise until you are directed to your accommodation.
Where will I be accommodated?
You will be allocated an accommodation with one of the Warwick students, either on or off campus, depending on the availability of space.
Can I live with a friend who is studying at Warwick University?
Yes. However, you should send us an email specifying the name of the person you want to stay with during the event and we will look for the approval of the person in question.
We advise you to deal with the person first.
What shall I bring with me?
We expect you to bring everything you need:
- Sleeping bag (for your comfort)
- Body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
- Other personal things
Please do not expect your host to provide any of these.
Also, please do not forget your ID or PASSPORT to be admitted in clubs!
Will breakfast, lunch and dinner be provided?
Breakfast is not included in the price of the games' ticket.
A lunch pack will be provided at the Sports Centre and dinner will be served on campus.
Is there a supermarket nearby for food shopping?
Yes, there is a Grocery Store on campus which closes at 23:00 and a Tesco which is about 10-20 minutes walk, depending on your location on campus. Tesco is operational during the whole night.
How will we be going for clubbing and how are we coming back?
We will provide coaches that will bring you to and from the club at a specific time. Those living off campus will also benefit from this.
Is alcohol allowed in the Sports Centre?
No, this is strictly prohibited and will be severely punished.
Do I need any cash with me on the day I arrive at Warwick?
Yes, those living off campus will have to take the bus. A one way ticket costs £2 and a Daysaver costs £3.90.
